Job Title: SEO Specialist – Bargojet Studio
Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to improve our websites’ search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. You will research keywords and trends, develop and implement SEO strategies, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure best practices across our digital footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify search trends and optimisation opportunities.
- Develop and execute content strategies that improve brand visibility and organic search rankings.
- Optimise website copy, landing pages, meta descriptions, title tags and other on‑page elements.
- Conduct technical SEO audits, addressing issues like URL structure, broken links, heading hierarchies and missing metadata.
- Manage link‑building campaigns to acquire high‑quality backlinks and improve domain authority.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and other SEO platforms, tracking KPIs such as organic traffic, rankings, click‑through rates and conversions.
- Perform competitor analysis to identify market trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with web development, content, editorial and social‑media teams to ensure consistent SEO implementation.
- Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimise page performance and user engagement.
- Manage SEO campaign budgets and monitor costs to stay within allocated resources.
- Keep current with search engine algorithm updates, industry trends and emerging technologies like AI and voice search.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on SEO performance, insights and recommendations for management.
- Provide SEO guidance to clients or internal stakeholders as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SEO specialist or analyst with demonstrable results.
- Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors and SEO best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data‑driven decisions.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and a basic understanding of JavaScript and web development constraints.
- Experience with SEO platforms like SEMrush, Moz or Ahrefs.
- Strong SEO copywriting and content optimisation skills and understanding of user intent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, computer science or a related field.
- Industry‑recognised certifications in SEO or digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics IQ, Moz SEO Certification).
- Experience managing pay‑per‑click (PPC) campaigns and familiarity with bid management tools.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website architecture optimisation.
- Knowledge of structured data, technical SEO requirements, user‑experience principles and conversion‑rate optimisation methods.
- Familiarity with integrating social‑media marketing into SEO strategies and a demonstrated online presence through blogs or social media.
- Experience with server‑side optimisation and strong Excel or data‑analysis skills.
